Creosote Affects Wins Six Awards
We make brands unstoppable. And sometimes our work gets rewarded.
Creosote Affects earned six awards at The Educational Advertising Awards this year. A national panel of industry specialists reviews all entered pieces, presenting Best of Show, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit awards based on creativity, marketing execution and message impact.
The Educational Advertising Awards presented Creosote with two Golds, one Silver, two Bronze and one Merit award. For its work with The Academy of the Holy Cross, Creosote earned a Gold award in the “Integrated Marketing Campaign” category for the “Empowered Girls” campaign, which included new videos, a viewbook, direct mail pieces, email marketing, social media advertising and a website refresh.
Creosote’s admissions work with St. Andrew’s Episcopal School earned Gold and Merit awards in the “Search Piece” and “Viewbook” categories, respectively. Unique print specifications contributed to the appeal and impact of both pieces. The brochure featured paper folding that reveals multiple messages as the reader unfolds it, and the viewbook included pull-out pages with cited research proving the effectiveness of St. Andrew’s approach to education.
Creosote partnered with St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School in Miami to conduct a full discovery with qualitative and quantitative research. The work resulted in a suite of new admissions materials, one of which earned a Silver award in the “Brochure” category, and a Bronze award-winning video. Anchored in the school’s “Know Better” theme, the brochure highlights testimonials from the PK–5 school’s parents, describing each individual’s moment when they just “knew.”
At the higher ed level, Washington and Jefferson College’s travel brochure earned a Bronze award in the “Search Piece” category.
